Maybe I will die too. I cut a close fitting block and slathered it with
micro. then I brushed the hole lightly with expanding foam and pushed my
block in watching to be sure the block was not pushed out any by the
expanding foam. Purpose was to fill any small voids caused by imperfection in
my carving of the replacement block. After cure I tapped for voids then cut a
1/4" square on the blind side to see I had no void. I got this from a couple
guru's at OSH. Next step is to static load it.
