Another consideration may be the physical features of the sample bodies used
for the 60.5" calculation of the arm. More weight up top on the body would
be more weight aft, right?

I fail to see how scale calibration could affect Cof G
position. The scales could be calibrated in 1/17 of troy oz and the
C f
G would still be the correct. Now if the 3 scales were different, now
THAT would spoil your day.
