Re: [Fwd: Velocity Aircraft]]

I thought that it might be hurricane related too but Scott Baker at Velocity told me that they had no trouble receiving calls from all across the U.S. and other International calls on Wednesday and suggested that the problem was probably in my exchange connecting to the 772 area code. Nobody with Bell here can identify with any problem at this end either however, although that seems like the most plausible explanation I have received to date. Thanks for your input nevertheless.

As a relative newcomer on the Quickie aircraft builder scene ( 11 months now, presently making my templates ) I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your tremendous contributions to those of us less knowledgeable for your excellent articles both in the past and present. Your article on camber and toe-in was one of the first I was directed to by another Q2 builder from the Montreal area, David Cyr, who graciously took me for my first flight last summer in his Q2 which he built I believe in the 90's. I am indeed fortunate to have he and Michel Moreau also from the Montreal area to consult with as I proceed with my building. All I must do now is beat father time to the finish line :-)
Best regards,

BellSouth lost much of their newer switching equipment for the 407 and 772 area codes in the hurricanes last year and are still rebuilding the network in that area. The existing network is older equipment pressed back into service and subject to interesting glitches like the one you experienced.
