As I have noted before, the problem with the 35 hp Briggs & Stratton is the weight (and power/weight ratio). I think it comes in at about 130 lbs. A 64 hp VW is about 160 lbs, so it has a much better power/weight ratio. Martin Burns Q1 G-BKSE Scotland
