If you are serious, it needs to be forward enough as to place the axles in the same location as they are on the plans built tail dragger.

How many inches forward must one move the main landing gear of a Tri-Q hoop
gear in order to convert it into a Slickie taildragger? I think I saw a
picture of one of these some place - a taildragger Quickie with hoop gear main
landing gear.
