Hi guys. If we can get a reasonable number of people interested in purchasing a tail spring we can talk Peter in talking to the fellow that made Sam's tail spring in Australia, but we need an impressive number of springs(I think a couple of dozens may do it)Let see how many of us are interested. I have a spare original tail spring. However, it is recommended that other options be pursued because the original tends to break. One is to find a Dragonfly tail spring and use it instead of the original. Jim Patillo has 800 hours on a 4130 5/8th diameter steel bar which seems to work. See:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Q-LIST/files/Jim%20Patillo-%20%20N46JP%20Q200/Tailwheel%20Mod/ . I have a query out on the Dragonfly List with one "hit", but no deal as yet. Check back in a week with me of list, and I will keep you up to date. Hope this helps

Does anyone on the Q-list know how much to pay for a Dragonfly tailspring?

Thanks,

Joseph
