Hi guys. If we can get a reasonable number of people interested in purchasing a tail spring we can talk Peter in talking to the fellow that made Sam's tail spring in Australia, but we need an impressive number of springs(I think a couple of dozens may do it)Let see how many of us are interested. However, it is recommended that other options be pursued because the original tends to break. One is to find a Dragonfly tail spring and use it instead of the original. Jim Patillo has 800 hours on a 4130 5/8th diameter steel bar which seems to work. See:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Q-LIST/files/Jim%20Patillo-%20%20N46JP%20Q200/Tailwheel%20Mod/ . I have a query out on the Dragonfly List with one "hit", but no deal as yet. Check back in a week with me of list, and I will keep you up to date. Hope this helps "L. D.
