Jerry makes a good point. While several of us run at 3150 RPM's with hi compression engines on a regular basis, we don't do it for extended periods in 100-500 mile races! You could have created some stress risers that won't show up until you least expect it. I vote for a complete tear down which will put your mind at ease. Send the parts out and get them zygloed, magnafluxed and yellow tagged". And while you're at it, maybe you can hone the cylinders, re-lap the valves and install some new rings. Regards and good luck.
