Dan and Jerry-----  This may not be of any help, but in Canada I get my insurance from March insurance. With this company if you want to insure the airplane hull, you can pay extra, but if you just want basic coverage instead of insuring the airplane you insure the pilot. I have half a million in combined liability and passenger hazard and it cost me 660 per year.  I also have two flying airplanes, a Dragonfly and  a Super Quickie and this policy allows me to fly both under the same policy. Basically I can fly any airplane and have the coverage follow me. But wait. It gets better. Anyone with a valid pilot license living under the same roof as you is also covered. My wife is also a pilot so she is covered under the same policy.  Can’t get much better than that.    Take care-----------  Canada Chris
