Rob,

Fuselage torsional stiffness is low until the wing and canard are installed.

Eugen,

Be sure to download the entire SuperQuickie Conversion report, not just the one picture that I sent earlier.

Eugen, congratulations, looking good!

One thing I always wondered about: how is the torsional stiffness of the fuselage structure? Can you judge that, by twisting it at either end with two persons?

Hi Q-Community,
So far the glass is placed on the fuselage outside of my Q1. The foam for wing and canard is coming already from the supplier. The next steps will be to start up my DIY CNC Foam cutter to produce the parts for wing and canard.
The weight of the fuselage with all bulkheads and AFT top is around 18.6 kg or 41.6 lbs.
Best regards

Eugen-------- One other thing I would recommend is to install a few extra layers of glass on the canard where your feet go.

I sold my Super Q with 100 hrs on it, but on my Dragonfly , after about 200 hrs the canard got soft under the heel area, and I ended up doing as I said. Take care--------- Chris
