Nice to hear of your experience I am surprised! We used to use Jasco to clean our epoxy encrusted tooling in the rocket factory, same methylene chloride.

The Airforce has been looking for a safe stripper, I have not heard that they have approved one. FYI.

I used furniture stripper type methylene chloride on my entire fuselage 14 years ago and everything still seems well and good. Before I started I soaked some samples of glass and foam in the stuff with no apparent ill effect.

Hey guys. I need to strip the topcoat off of my Q. The airplane wasn't prepped very well back in the 80s so the topcoat is flaking off. Anyone had to do this before? Glass safe stripper or sand?
