The Abilene show is probably 3/4 the size of Cranfield in airplanes and a lot
less vendor booths. This is a best guess as I used to attend when it was in
Kerrville, TX and have not been to it since it moved to Abilene several years
Abilene is probably the size of Milton-Keynes with a huge airfield on either
side (West is an Airforce bomber base).It's not as easy to get to as M-K,
train service is nil, but coach and car and private plane is best. It's about
a 3 hour drive west of Dallas. With those long concrete parallel runways you
would think air service was like Luton, but it is not very good.
