What are you running on the Pad on the right side???
Do you need to cool the Pad and would love to see how the Pad is hooked-up.

I don't know what you are referring to.  Ipad?  These are in-flight photos.

We have planned  a catered meal and fellowship Saturday at 5:30 PM at the WDG terminal.  I need a head count by 9/21/18.  Please email me  if you are planning to join us for this meal.  Cost is $16 and payable at meal time.

I picked up the Stratux components off of Amazon last year, after Oshkosh, then I picked up a 7" Samsung on Ebay for $55. I installed the free Avare program and it integrates well. After fiddling around, I got it to work! I live about three miles from the Southern Illinois Airport and I could pick up the SIU student aircraft here in my man cave.  Pretty cool. There are a lot more aircraft out there than I realized, just using my plain eyeballs.

I wanted to complete the ADS-B IN/OUT package so this year, Jerry picked up a SkyBeacon ADS-B out, for me at Oshkosh.  Last weekend I inaugurated it trying it on a trip within the O'hare Class B veil. On the way back, I found out there was some problems with its GPS.  The folks at uAvionix had me send it back, but it's due in today. I'm sure they will make it right for me.

Why I'm so excited is now we can get Radar and Air Traffic in our planes for a small initial investment and no monthly cost.  Then we can add $25 and have a backup Attitude Gyro!

You can build an ADS-B Receiver first.  Cost about $145 and a Smart Phone or Tablet.

Or buy this from Aircraft Spruce for $189, but you'll need a 12V to 5V powersupply I believe.
