Mike Dwyer and I have been working on the Photos section of the Q-list. When the photos were transferred over from the old Yahoo site, they were pretty much a jumbled mess.  Mike and I attempted to sort them as best we could, grouping them into albums by Owner.  If you are the Owner of an album, you have control over it, what goes in and what goes out.  When they first transferred over, most of the ownership transferred to me, but we have been going in and changing the ownership to you.  If Ownership of the album is Sam Hoskins, Sandy Hoskins, or Mike Dwyer, that means we can't locate the owner in the existing Q-List membership. If one of these are you, please shoot me an email and I'll fix it. Believe it or not, we spend several hours putting things straight and we aren't yet finished.

Unfortunately, the photo albums do not contain sub folders, so if you had photos with several different themes (engine, Paint, Trailers, etc.) they are now lumped together. On of the big contributors has been Jim Patillo.  What I tried doing was to create a second album for Jim called Jim Patillo -2 which featured his starter photos. Then I created a Jim -3, which is the start of his JimBob 6-Pack. You have permissions to move from one of your albums to another, but you can only do them one at a time.

So, if you want to create albums, please go ahead, and if it's your second album, give it a -2, -3 number. Also, if you find photos that seem to be in the wrong album, let me know and I can move them.

Files
The files section is another problem area. As it moved over from Yahoo, it is all mixed up with text files and photos. I haven't done anything with the Files section yet. Maybe we'll figure something out after the dust settles.

Just looked at the new photo organization. Seems like a lot of photos disappeared. Maybe that was the idea, but it seems like we should preserve what has been submitted.

I noticed that someone has edited the album intro on my photo album.  Was that u Sam?
If so Thanks it looks better that way. 
Glad to know it has been visited.  Hadn't heard anything so wasn't sure it had even been seen. 
On a side note I'm tryin to get Terry to do the same.  Like I told him, during the time I was building photos
of Quickies hung in my shop.  They served as an inspiration to what all those pieces and parts would one day look like and
I know he has photos of his winning Quickie and OSH award.  
It would sure be nice to see more of that from all you out there in Q land. 
Oh...and many Thanks goes to Dwyer and Curico for the idea.  
Their postings are what got me thinking about it.

Is the firewall the same common to the turbo & normally aspirated? So it has the GU forward wing. So initial gross weight would be 1000 pounds. What have other GU turbos with 3 blade Warp Drive reported for top speed or max cruise? I'm overdue for my medical & biennial, update this spring. I have no tail dragger takeoffs or landings.

I went through it in August as I was baselining the current work completed on my airframe. Voice of zero experience here, but perusing this list, the archives, and Sam's new and old blogs led me to believe the following revisions may be in order:

1. The bellcrank can be eliminated for the Hoskins setup, reducing weight, build time, and complexity (esp. if combined with the plans quick disconnect). To finish rigging my current bellcrank I think I'll have to wear the tailcone as a hat. Not looking forward to annuals either.
2. The LaRue brake mod is good but superceded by the Coughlin/Hoskins mounting. If reports that you can reuse the stock mounts and wheel covers are true then that's more build time saved. Grainger now sells threaded hollow steel rod of the correct size, making construction of the Coughlin version much easier.
3. The full-swivel tailwheel is nice to have but *potentially* unnecessary (or at least a decision/modification that can be deferred).
4. The Gall wheel alignment must also be completed as the 7th item on a taildragger, especially if operating at high gross weights (the existing alignment problem gets progressively worse as weight increases).
5. Having some sort of independent hydraulic brakes is more important than them strictly being the Matco-type toe brakes called out in the article. I considered heel brakes as a compromise to keep my hands free but a simple bungee rope parking brake across both finger levers may adequately solve the problem...

My aircraft currently has the entire 6-pack and Gall alignment completed per the earlier link, except for retaining a stock tailwheel. I intend to revisit items 1, 2, 3, and 5 *after* flying the 40 hours and revising my opinion then (so JP/MD/JM don't burn me at the stake).
