Re: Friction Lock "Knob"
I have a box of knobs. What diameter is the post? Is it similar to a radio knob ( types I have) or is it something larger that you need for torquing? Would a handle like a window sill

crank be more appropriate? Phil

Found it just now after Jason called and told me best guess as to where it fell to. 😀

Are you comfortable that it isn't somewhere in the cockpit waiting to roll around and lodge a control?

I think it just looks like that in the poor quality photo that I took. It went back on just fine and that is the same length sticking out that it has always been. Corbin

Re: Friction Lock "Knob"
Oh yea, you have to have a model before you can print. Or maybe you can download one from a knob vendor.

Looks like the shaft broke off. There is not enough sticking out to put a knob on. You'll have to find a new shaft. Take it apart and see what it looks like. The trim lock is a nice thing to have on a LS1 canard. Not sure about your GU canard...
