Ryszard excellent Advertisement for B and C.  And you got that right!  I have never had a problem with my B and C.  My TriQ 200 will almost taxi with just the starter it cranks so fast!

Thought you all might like a few pics to "wet your whistles" plus an easier way to the URL for FOD!  The top picture is of Field Of Dreams quite a few years ago in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Ryzard you are certainly welcome to come "crash the party" here in Enid if you like.  There are bunch of guys that would love to meet you and talk Canards!

Looks like we are about 3 1/2 weeks out for "Field Of Dreams"!!  We just received a brand new shipment of Caps with our logo and pic on them.  They look great and make Honey Lamb look sooo sweet!  We have great weather ordered for the event and expect a large crowd to show up for all the festivities!  Saturday is our monthly Woodring Fly In Breakfast!  There will a lot of folks wanting a close up look of our beautiful airplanes so get out the wax.
Joanne and I always look forward to seeing you all show up every year and this is no exception.  We are sooo pumped!

Good to know Sammy!  I've been running a 12 amp B and C for years without any troubles at all.  The largest thing I run is a servo for my Trio EZ autopilot plus a servo for rudder trim.  The rest is for electronic ignition and radio and transponder and ipad.  So I am not pulling hardly any amps.

I did replace the gear/cushion drive at one time as they recommended it as a weak point.  I cut a huge amount of extra wire and wrapped it up so I could pull the engine without needing to disconnect it when I clean out the oil screen.

This is for anyone with the B&C BC433 30 amp generator mounted on their O-200.

In widely spaced incidents, I've had a couple of fuses blow in the line between the alternator and the regulator. After a lot of discussion and looking at the culprit fuse, we think we boiled it down to an overheated 20 amp fuse with a slightly corroded leg, rather than a current overload. I've also communicated with Bob Knuckolls about this.

As a result of these discussions, B&C has decided that the fuses are unnecessary and only provide another possible failure point. They installed an alternator on their test stand and shorted the windings in all possible combinations and found no hazards.  Just thought I'd pass it along.  Here are the drawings.

Not able to attend the zoom meeting this morning.... reason; Rod and I just returned from a beautiful flight through the man-made canyons of NYC. We flew the VFR corridor down the Hudson River south past the statue of liberty, did a 180 and flew north past the world trade center, and returned to KORE... total time 2.9 hours. Rod's flight time was about 15 minutes less. Great conditions and not as busy as I expected, much less than KOSH. I'll try to get some footage together. Counting on Rod for that. This has been on our bucket list since we started flying, and was kind of last minute mission. There surely must of been a few "WTH is that thing up there" statements made as we flew over. I'll be on the lookout for the YouTube recording of Sanjay's presentation. Hope to see y'all soon at the FOD in Enid.

Beautiful picture Charlie. Thank you. Nothing can come close to nature's beauty that we are fortunate enough to see from the air.

In the mid-1980s, on the 4th of July' Nancy and I made the same trip in the. Musketeer from Boston,  from there to the Poconos and wound up landing at a remote honeymooners resort.  owner was a retired PanAm pilot.  camped  free for 3days  by the fishing pond along side the runway,  Good old days. Dave, if you're wondering why Orange is a little more warm since you returned, it's because of all the surveillance satellites now pointed at you.
