Yes N870BM did NOT have "plans built" wheel alignment. The wheel alignment
was corrected early in its development by Bob Malechek and this solved all
ground handling issues.

The POH recommends land full stall tailwheel first.It is more common to land 3 point. It is unsafe to wheel it on, read sidegust with limited rudder authority,and how do you control

One of our highest time pilots, Sam Hoskins, I believe used a Johnson bar for well over a 1000 hrs. (Correct me Sam if this isn't true) and still has the small rudder. But I believe it is a better

Kevin - Sure sounds like there was more to the equation, i.e. if there was
enough air to keep part of the AC flying, there should have been enough to
provide rudder authority. The answer is blowin in
