Exhaust System.
Hey Qers.
I had written about putting together a stainless exhaust system and ... you were right, it is next to impossible to bend that stuff. It appears only the mandrel bend machines can touch it.

Re: carbon fiber spars for sale
As a matter of interest, are the Q1 and Q2 spars the same length?
Will not using a thicker spar for the Q1 affect the airfoil thickness, and is not just a matter of enlarging the core openings?
Paul

Stuck in Oklahoma
Bruce and Paul are stuck in Oklahoma.
Bad weather vibrations. Low ceilings, icing, etc.
Lynn and Hawkeye we are thinking of an impromptu fly in at Broken Bow. We were thinking of flying in on sat.

Re: carbon fiber spars for sale
You are right Paul the Q2 spar would be too big for the Q1 airfoil. It tapers from 105mm to 60mm and the Q1 tapers to 45mm. I should stop smokin that stuff.

Re: carbon fiber spars for sale
The Q1 spars have the same taper but go down to a smaller diam. The larger Q2 spars could be used on a Q1 with a small weight penalty. Would need to check the templates for clearance or otherwise

Both instances happened very early on when I was first learning to
fly my Q which is why I advocate a boost pump properly installed for

Re: N275CH First Flight Q200 Revisited!
Jim thanks for explaining how your vent was filled. Even without an aux tank the plans vent fills from time to time but not so bad as in your case so it seems as if the 0-200 setup is safe mainly

Re: N275CH First Flight Q200
Peter,
The plans type vent goes under the fuselage and spills on the ground. I did
this yesterday. If you have your vent on top, you can terminate at the top
of the tank as it can not plug with

Re: Q-200 Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004
I can get 2 versions flying just fine. I do not get 100% of the options available as you would in standard MSFS. Still flies like a cessna.
The DF group suggests X Plane and the DF they have created
