Paul, my two cents. If you just need to touch up some areas of the paint, I
would just chip off some of it and get it matched by an electronic machine,
It would be much better if you knew what it was

Q1 and VW engines???
I seen where a builder is installing a VW 1835 4-cylengine on a Q1. I
wasent aware that a engine that heavy could be used. Has this
instalation been done before and done sucessfully???

Paul,
I would strongly recommend against using quarter turn fasteners. Once the
plane is flying, you will only remove the tail cone at annual inspection
time, if that. The problem with the quarter

Kevin, that's good news - well done. "Flying" sounds a whole lot better than "Building". "Getting near" also sounds better than "Building" - just not as good as "Flying".

my empty weight with the global was 318 pounds. I was flying at a gross 620 pounds
bucking speed was 62 miles per hour and cruise was 120 mph and fuel burn was 1 to 1.5 an hour. my reason for
