Mike,
I built an ANR head set using a set of Peltor line boy head sets ( the same as the shooters passive head set) with the active noise canceling inserts from the outfit in Texas whose name I have

Re: Brake Fluid for Airhearts - page
You have the correct stuff. Do a Google search for 5606 hydraulic fluid.

Brake Fluid for Airhearts - page
I'm uncertain whether I've picked the wrong brake fluid for my Airheart,
kit-provided brakes.
I'm in the latter stages of installing the LaRue brake mod on my Q2. In
order to get the disc-caliper

Re: Headset Experiment
Mike maybe you should try the Lightspeed with foam ear plugs in your ears. When you put on the Peltor and the Ears Buds you had 2 muffling sources.

Great flight report! Hopefully your oil temp will come down with more breakin time . I had to install a oil cooler to get mine down. I tried the finned cover over the oil filter too without much

Oil Cooler Question
Mike Dwyer asked if I was using an oil cooler. I responded, Yes. Don't know what I was thinking. I DO NOT have an oil cooler. What I do have is an aluminum, finned sleeve around the oil FILTER.

Atta' goin' Studdly!!
It is a pleasure flyin' behind an 0200!
2600 rpm would be better for static on the prop. I concur with Mike that the oil temp is a bit high for 39 degrees F. Although not to

Jerry,
Great report. Glad things are looking good.
Just curious about a couple things:
How do you measure fuel flow?
Does your Dynon have the engine monitoring functions i.e. EGT's,

Re: Test Flight report
Jerry,
Do you have an oil cooler? Those oil temps should drop when it's broke in, at least that's what I've seen. Just for my curiosity, what's your oil pressure while your taxing back to the hangar

Re: Motor fuel vs Epoxy
Thanks Richard.
His engine seems awfully tall. Don't think that would work well in a Q. I understand diesel is much cheaper than regular auto gas there in the UK isn't it? We're paying $3 per gal

Test Flight report
Not much of a test flight, just cruised around.
I am standing up to key this in because I just can't come down enough to sit down.
Launched at 11:20. Another perfect day: no wind, clear skies and
