Question on Ottawa.........
Just a quick question for all Ottawa goers. In planning the trip down I
have had trouble finding a car rental place in Ottawa. Does anyone know of
a good place there? We are planning a quick trip

Barry, Ottawa is awfully small and may not have rental cars. Maybe a taxi
would do the job for you (if they have one...call the chamber of commerce).
Or you could fly into Industrial at Olathe which

Jon,
I think it means that you have some air leakage around the hinge. The
higher-pressure air along the lower surface finds its way through the hinge
slot and makes a little jet or invisible geyser

advised against spanwise elevator gap seals, because they created a severe
'Dutch Roll' tendency that could get out of

I put tufts on my canard (left side outboard where I can see them) and I do
not see this behavior. I've got an LS-1 like Larry's and I don't see his
behavior either. Mine seem to be fairly well

Those spinning yarns at midspan are probably plus or minus about 20 degrees
in line aft from the mid-span elevator hinge, no?

those dimensions are the max thickness? Also a Dragonfly is not a Q.
But the maximum thickness appears to be near or at
