Re: G-BXOY Rudder Horn & Intermediary device
Clive,
Thanks for the reply. Looks like your simpler design works. Now we have options!
I only had paul's two blade on my plane for evaluation. Never used his three blade.
Regards,
Jim

Roy Marsh's KR2S was flying with a Revmaster R-2100D Turbo and has some significant time on it with good success. It has changed owners in the last couple of years but I know then engine/airframe

You might take this question over to the VW list, esp. questions about longevity of Turbo VWs. The problem with "getting peak HP out of this motor at all altitudes" is that VW heads have cooling

I guess Kevin called it. The weather forecast for Fri. & Sat. are not great so everyone be careful.

It's not going to be to bad of a day for a flight here in the Northeast. I'm heading for Nebraska, and we'll see how far we get today. I'll keep you updated.

Re: G-BXOY Rudder Horn & Intermediary device
Thanks Clive, I appreciate the description and pictures.
I have to rebuild the tail/tailwheel area. I am looking to run the cables to the rudder then to the tailwheel -- Your approach seems better

VW's and turbos don't mix very well. Have not heard of anyone flying with one...for very long. I know they were produced but the extra heat is a big factor. I know there are guys lurking here with
