Hello Jimmy, I bet you were as surprised as I. I have a proprietary center-line homing device. Works pretty good. Hope you two are doing well.

Seems a little grainy for some reason. Helps to disguise my shaky piloting Jerry

Jeff:
I've been searching through the archives and came across this. How did (is) the 1/4 scale RC model build go?
Best,

Re: Quickie Q-2 Never Exceed speed
Hi Jeff,
Each airplane gets it's own Vne. I don't claim to be an expert but I understand you slowly increase your speed and slap gently your control stick to see if any high frequency oscillations

Re: Quickie Q-2 Never Exceed speed
Hi Jeff,
Please send me an email at logistics_engineering@... if you need the original Chen Shin tires. I can help you.
I posted a GPS pix a couple of years back in the files section showing 230 mph.

Re: Quickie Q-2 Never Exceed speed
Biggest concern with V_ne on this plane is flutter speed. There are a few built that have a V_ne higher than 200mph, I seem to remember 230mph somewhere. Mass balanced control surfaces are a must

Re: Quickie Q-2 Never Exceed speed
Hi Jeff - welcome to our world. I have seen 220 TAS once or twice. I race mine and my straight and level top speed is 210 mph.
I use these tires, 8 ply.

Quickie Q-2 Never Exceed speed
Hello everyone, I am a new owner of a quickie Q-2 and it may be another few weeks until I fly my bird for the first time.
I have two questions at the moment.
Has anyone ever tested the true never

Flight report - finally!
Wow, I think this is the farthest into a new year before I got a chance to fly the Q (almost Pi day!). It’s been a brutal winter – either the snow was so deep that I could get the plane out of
