Re: Project update
We took over the production of the TriQ kits from Scott a few years ago now. You can convert the gear to add the stops without to much hassle. The new gear is 11/4" verses the original 1" the smaller

Duane Swing designed the tri-gear conversion and the initial nose gear had no stops and it was found that it could cause the problems described. A new gear was later manufactured

Re: Project update
My front gear doesn't have pivot stops other than the friction washers and Jesus nut. Is this a latter modification I missed? Does anyone have specs or pics? Thanks for the feedback

Interesting... we got an excess of AME's here in Florida, probably 10 within a 20 min drive. I don't think they will go away because they also do occupational medicine like truck drivers... $150

Looking for Weishaar/Doyle LS1 canard info
Hello everyone. I've been poking around the Q-Talk archives, reading about the Weishaar/Doyle LS1 canard. It's a CF box spar in lieu of the CF tubes.
Through Sam, I was able to contact Jim Doyle

TriQ may be for sale
OK group, I am thinking on moving the TriQ to a new home. We have the Q200 nearly ready to fly and two other projects well underway. It is hard to keep them all. After all the history on this

Good read Jon. I'm glad you didn't break anything.
Long ago I learned that any bolt gets torqued in place even if I plan on needing to remove it later. Same with everything. Also, use the wifes
