Congrats on getting back in the air, Paul. I now have a list of things to avoid: motorcycles and trees!
Cheers,
Jay

Nice Square track, cool! Thanks for the tip about the trees. I'll keep my distance from now on. Heal up soon!

First Flight of 2018 - finally!
Well it took until the 21st of March, but I finally made my first Q flight of the year! I went back over the last 27 years and my average has been the 18th of January, so this year is a little late!

Thanks Paul,
Have sat in it with headsets plugged into both sides and clearances are all good. I have to reach around with my left hand to adjust intercom volume and squelch but that is not

Looks really nice Jay! I hope your headset connectors aren't in the way.
I'm looking forward to seeing it in person... oh, and you too!

Re: Reflex
Thanks Imraan,
There is always inadequacy when posting a preliminary photo of an assembly. This is a photo is of the finished product so may allay some of your concerns. The lever is far enough

Re: Reflex
Jay-------------- Like all the pictures. Giving me some ideas. Looking at your relexor, is your QCSA3 part the stock part?.
I think there was a advisory to make the part narrower for better aileron

Here’s my tunnel/shroud for the aileron torque tube looking aft from the cockpit, pilot’s side made from 1/16” aircraft plywood with 2 plies of glass for strength.

Re: Reflex
Neat setup.
(I am sure you are planning to enclose the leads.)
Please take care with working on the reflexor. I think you will find that your left stick is just as powerful a control as the elevator
