I found a small throw linear actuator that drives .75" with 30 ft/lbs of force. Does not move or freespin if power is lost. I think it weights 12oz?

You bring up a great point here, Rob. John Mansfield also produces the XPS foam products. Sources are absolutely important in our requirements. It is also true the original orange foams probably are
