No doubt... GoPro Quik is not very intuitive. Once you select a media file and add the desired "gauges", select the scissor icon (Create a Clip). This allows you to select the portion of the media

Good ideas, Vern. I think all of the movie recording options on phones, now include the GPS, so I suspect the ipad, iphone and android platforms will all work for what you describe. I will try a video

I’ll add that the Garmin cameras have this built in as well. Many different options on how to display it within the app probably similar to the GoPro telemetry data.
