Rod and I are spending the night in Lima Ohio. Unsure if the weather will cooperate tomorrow. Smooth flying at 3500 ft, tailwind averaging 120 mph ground speed. Rod averaged 170 mph ground speed,

Made it to Kimball Nebraska as intended. Plane in a hangar and will stay overnight. Saw Alan land in Beatrice on my way out of there. Saw as high as 40 knots direct headwinds west of there. Wow!

I sure wish I had made the trip this year. Just so far away from California. Maybe next year. Phil Lankford

To start, remember this is for a fuel injected engine, fuel flows from header to main tank to high pressure pumps. Tanks fill visa header tank filler cap. There's more to that like filters and valve
