Re: Battery quick connect plugs?
Robert,
I use these and you might be able to make secret hole for the exit.

How about just running wire from your battery location up to the baggage compartment where you can reach them, and cap the ends until needed, uncap then and clip on your charger. Sometimes I

Re: Battery quick connect plugs?
No sorry that’s not what I meant. My problem is the battery is in the tail and so are the battery solenoids. I need a way to attach a charger to my battery without taking off the tail.

Do I understand correctly that the tail will be attached with electrically activated latching?

Battery quick connect plugs?
I found a little flaw in my electrical design which is how to attach an external battery charger.
I need some elegant way to run the battery lead outside in the tail.
Any plug suggestions?--

Re: Quick Disconnect for Rudder Cables
I did one per side, ‘quick’ is relative I guess as I found them a bit fiddly to do up, but it works.

Re: Quick Disconnect for Rudder Cables
Guess I should’ve said some people use a bell crank (like me)… Others just put a disconnect in each side’s cable. That’s simpler and lighter. I’m sure someone with that setup will send you

Re: Quick Disconnect for Rudder Cables
Most people have some sort of bell crank mounted in the tail cone. Here’s a detail of mine outer holes are where the cables going forward to the rudder pedals mount with a thimble/shackle and an AN3

Quick Disconnect for Rudder Cables
I have found ways for electrical disconnect at the tail seam but what about rudder cables? How have you all solved that? Do the pedal connectors come off for a quick connection at the tail seam?

Re: Interior photos
Hi Norman,
Sorry it’s a bit late, I got some normal foam sheets and some of the energy absorbing stuff for the base and tried it out, various thicknesses, to fit.
Then had leather covers made.

Re: Duckie Is Alive
A major milestone Robert. Congratulations! At your pace, you will be in the air in no time.
Troy now has his Q back back at the LVK airport after replacing both tanks. He is beginning the taxi

Great Picture Mike,
Reminds me of the flight we did in 2002 but without the ride of the Valkyries playing as we headed to the strip.
Thanks for sharing, fly safe.
