Al,
Maybe Peter won't listen but the silent majority out here do listen and we
really appreciate the advise you and many other experienced Q2 & Q200 pilots

Sam/Jim,
this is upon reflection, a really good idea and simpler by far than the
metal spinning suggestion. there should be very little load on the
bulkhead if the spinner is accurately installed

I used 0.062 aluminum for mine. Incidentally, I first used Tygon vinyl for the tubing, but found that it began to cut through. I replaced it with poluurethane which has much higher cut

I believe it was either .080 or .090. I sliced clear tubing, wrapped it around the spinner bulkhead and taped the two ends together with gray duct tape. Has worked well and does a great

I have flown out of Reno and Tahoe for many years with Turbo's and Turbines and I couldn't agree more. Normally aspirated doesn't do much for me up there. The only way to make your Qbird work

I considered this same dilemma when I replace my prop, but ended up with a
3.5" hub prop instead. I think the reason they do not offer a front bulkhead
for the 4" hub is because there is no room
