Got a story about that town. Remind me in Enid if that trip is still on for you...it's kinda sorta aviation related.

Hi Vern,
Just about as far west as you can be and still be in Colorado. Mailing address is Grand Junction, but plane is at Mack Mesa, 10CO, ten miles from Utah.
Cheers,
Jay

Q200 Flight Report
Got a flight in this morning. The mission was to get up high and play ham radio from the plane. It was 90F and 77% humidity on the ground and 67F 35% humidity at 5500'. A little hazy but not bad

Re: Crazy OSH departures on Saturday
Yes, almost all the way. I was flying west a 10.5K MSL, due south of Cheyenne, WY and I could not see the mountains. I had 3 miles vis, but just barely. The smoke has moved west now and we are IFR

Re: Crazy OSH departures on Saturday
Hi Sam,
18 departures are side by side on the main runway only. If you line up on the left side of runway, then is 150 is your heading below 500 AGL to 5 miles, then you are on your own. Right

Re: Crazy OSH departures on Saturday
Fun departures.
It seems most of the time I've had departures on 36L, which calls for a right turn before you get to the tower. Then follow the lake shoreline below 500 feet until five miles south,

Below is a link to the video of OSH departures right after the field went VFR at noon on Saturday. Gives you a good feel for the pace of things, and also you can see how poor the visibility was. Just
