I flew the B-17 the Tri Motor AND the T-38 simulator. I was told the simulator cost twice as much as the real jet. The sad part is that sim time was when I was 15 years old. Arrived OSH today also.

Phil, The only expense was you had to find your own way home. I had frequent flyer miles so getting home was low cost. We paid by volunteering for years when the EAA B-17 came to Ogden on their tour.
