Q2 in Crookston, MN N145EX
This is James Postma's old plane, it was hangered at Tacoma Narrows.
It has a Rev with GU, I don't remember if it has VG's, nicely
finished but interior needs work. He'd be the one to ask

Not necessarily! There were a couple of Hawkeyes on that Colt team I was pretty proud of!

Re-reading my earlier post, I see what I left out: I am really concerned
about a 22 year old plane with only 160 hours on it. Was there a
problem? Hence my long winded commentary, reprinted

Hi Kris, here are some ideas:
1) If you traded, was the last owner flying it? If so, ask about ground
handling and any mods done to the plane. If not recently flying, why not?

It sounds like the airplane might have sat for a while. I would do a compression check on the engine to see what its health is. To see if you have a GU or an LS1 canard, look inside your cockpit. The

Re: Q2 in Crookston, MN
I have N145EX, built by William J. Losch, completed in 1985. My experience is
210 hours total time, 30 hours tail wheel. I am not sure if it is LS1 or GU.
It has a 75hp Revmaster 2100, 160 hours

Which Q2 do you have? What is the "N" number and who built it? What is your experience? Does your Q2 have an LS1 or a GU canard? What engine does it have? How many hours does it have? etc.
Please

Could we maybe change the Subject line? There's been interesting stuff discussed that will never be found with the current Subject heading.
Thanks!

Dug,
think seriously about putting it in a shipping container and letting
the professionals do the heavy lifting. It is cheap. Get it delivered
with a sideloader if possible or at least do not let
