Re: GU Canards Flying
You can add my LS1 Q-200 TD to the "flying". It may still only be 27 minutes so far - but flying is flying.... Yeah!!!

I do not know the numbers of LS1/GU, but the only advantage of the LS1 is the ability to carry more weight because of the carbon fiber spar. The extra weight is required for the O-200 engine. However,

Re: GU Canards flying
Mines a GU with T tail. Hasn't flown yet though. I understand the GU is actually more efficient than the LS1, but also more susceptible to lift degradation (from bugs & rain).

Re: Onan stops production. So?
If I understand mass production principles, Onan could hang it up today and
thousands of engines would still be in the pipeline for 5 or more years to
come. No worries mate.

Onan stops production
It seems that Onan is not going to produce the opposed twin flathead engine
anymore.
I have the 18 hp modded for more power, I had hoped in the future I could buy

Larry, I suggest you read the early Q-talks. Switching tire shapes did not
seem to make the planes more stable. For example, Bob Malecheck switched

You are correct, an airplane does get lighter on the wheels, the camber
changes, etc. However, If built to plans the Q2xx has 0 camber only at
