Mines a GU with T tail. Hasn't flown yet though. I understand the GU is actually more efficient than the LS1, but also more susceptible to lift degradation (from bugs & rain).

If I understand mass production principles, Onan could hang it up today and
thousands of engines would still be in the pipeline for 5 or more years to
come. No worries mate.

canards are still flying as against how many have converted to LS1.

Onan stops production
It seems that Onan is not going to produce the opposed twin flathead engine
anymore.
I have the 18 hp modded for more power, I had hoped in the future I could buy
a 25 or so hp Onan when my current

Larry, I suggest you read the early Q-talks. Switching tire shapes did not
seem to make the planes more stable. For example, Bob Malecheck switched
from aircraft tires (McCreary 5.00x5) to Lambs

Agree; however, I suspect that much of the problems stem from the fact that many of the planes have flat bottom (auto/cart) tires. Planes typically have rounded treads to reduce the camber impact. The

Trevor, I believe Larry is referring to a sticky brake, not a "drag brake". The air brake I think your may be referring to is useful in slowing down this otherwise slick bird, but not absolutely
