Just for the record that's the way I have my TriQ set up too - straight
pushrods from the stick to the control arms on the elevator. (The header
tank has a tunnel in it)

Re: rudder flutter. I had the original tailwheel setup where the motion to
the rudder is passed from the redder pedals, to the cables, to the
tailwheel, then from the tailwheel to the rudder

describing perfectly. Upon completion of my linkage I wasen't comfortable-with the
support pivot.-I added both wood

It was the pivot bracket thats fiberglassed onto the canard, sets just below the gas tank. This pivot bracket is fiberglassed to the canard and the glass holding it started to delaminate.
