I think we should look at the criteria we are trying to meet with the changing of our TW fly-in
location. If the location doesn't meet the needs and criteria of the list than hold off

Too many fly-ins?

Has anyone considered OSH? It is upper Midwest. I have been in there in
the "off season" (meaning not the last week in July), and found that it is a
very nice airport with lots of facilities

Well what can I say, Oshkosh is the best central location for all the US and
Canada's
aircraft Fly-in's.
I am not saying this because I have my shop, 100 miles straight south.

No tower at Iowa City and the big building off of runway 25 is the old United Hanger which is now empty as it is scheduled for demolition as part of a runway improvement. Until it is gone it could be

I have been to Iowa City a time or two and it is a great airport, but whatever you do, be sure you schedule around the football games. There are quite a few people who fly up for the games and hotels

Iowa City just got a new manager. A CFI friend of mine
knew the old manager pretty well and knows a couple of
people that work out of Iowa City. He is supposed to
do some checking on interest and
