Airworthiness Certificate
Yesterday was a good day! TriQ N817RC received it pink slip. Now its time to wait for spring and and think very hard about the test program. Just want to do it right.
Stay safe.

Re: Linear actuator
Hi Raoul,
I have not been able to persuade my spar maker to make a suitable
mandrel because he says the volume would not pay for the tooling.
Sorry no luck so far Raoul. If someone would make an order

Re: Linear actuator
I used a T3-12 servo http://www.rayallencompany.com/products/servos.html
pushing on the actuating arm of the "donut" reflexer design. Works
great.

Linear actuator
Hi and good year.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a 12V linear actuator suitable for the
reflexor? I seem to remember a reference months ago.
TIA

Now that's kinda funny. It is common to hear all kinds of non-sense in
pilot circles but that one is just plain out of touch. Next time "some one"
talks to you Dug, don't listen.

Being composite wouldn't have anything to do with it. Look at Cirrus,Lancair, Diamond ect. With a fast roll rate and "hands on" flying it would not be the best platform.

some one told me that since our planes are composite that they cannot be certified IFR aircraft? Is this correct? Even if it were to have an IFR certified panel?

This is James Postma's old plane, it was hangered at Tacoma Narrows.
It has a Rev with GU, I don't remember if it has VG's, nicely
finished but interior needs work. He'd be the one to ask

Re-reading my earlier post, I see what I left out: I am really concerned
about a 22 year old plane with only 160 hours on it. Was there a
problem? Hence my long winded commentary, reprinted
