Actually the inboard alerons serve at more than two purposes.
1.) with the alienors inboard there is a weight savings in the wing
structure.

If you read your plans you will see that QAC built 2 or 3 degrees or
washout into the templates that you used to hot wire your wing and canard.

Sure Larry well the idea is that we want the airflow to expand, slow down
and therefore reduce pressure which will suck more air into (or from in this
case) the orifice.

Kansas City (she was flying commercially) and then proceed to the event
in Emporia.
