Sorry to hear that Charlie. Last year, my alternator failed and it only cost $75 to have it rebuilt within about 45 minutes. The two magnets had broken apart inside. Next time I have the engine off

Bruce, Unable to complete first leg to FOD 2020 :-( Looked in the logs. The alternator is a 50 amp InterAv installed in late 70’s, to upgrade from 36 amp generator. My A&P said he could easily rack
