Still working on longest build time for Q-200 S/N 2710 (family keeps getting in the way); that being said I’ve had an experience with the Nylaflo tubing which I need to impart to the group. A

Re: Hydraulic Brake Line Failure
Jim,
There have been several cases of nylaflo failure. Search the web, usually where a change in stiffness occurs like a clamp or epoxied into structure.
I had a brake seal failure and that was enough

Re: Hydraulic Brake Line Failure
I have heard of a couple of failures, but not on Q’s. The latest was last year on my home field in an Arion Lightening that had less than 100 hours, which and uses the same type of tubing as the Q.

Hydraulic Brake Line Failure
Good morning all,
I just wanted to make this post to let you know I had a failure (a couple of months ago) of my left brake line about 2' from wheel pant, driver side. This is after 18 years of flying

Delivery Services
Looking for possible delivery services. I need our TriQ to be delivered to KGRE and check out the new pilot. The delivery needs to be done by a CFI that has 25 hrs in a TriQ according to the buyers

Re: First Flight of 2018 - finally!
Very nice Imraan, but cruel to be so far away that I cannot get a precision fix on it! 😊
Cheers,

I thought I'd post a recent flight video. Jay always seems to unearth lots of useful data by measuring things on the video. I finally found a way to obfuscate his process (excited volunteer

Re: Reflex
Jay----------------- Thanks for the info on the cables, but the cables themselves move very little. There is a tension spring that goes from the motion changer to the cables. Not in the picture.

Good plan Jon! I've been in Owatonna. I think you will be a lot happier there for your initial test flights.

Solo
Cruising the internet a while back for Q stuff and came across a video of first solo flight. Quality of the video isn't great, but for those that have test flown their aircraft, it will hit home.
