Jay,
The industry uses everything, I like nitrile because it is resistant to solvents like acetone and alcohol. My latest batch of HF blue 5 mill are not very durable. I bought some of the HF 7 mill

We use glove liners at work. They're really thin cotton gloves that come in a bag with 12 pairs or so. They will change your life! Put a pair on before putting latex gloves on and then you can change

Well everything fit back together. Shiney and new. Still have to paint the doors, flight surfaces, cowling and access panels, but I can move on to fuel flow testing, then put the engine back on for

Charlie Johnson can weigh in with his expertise, but I think I heard that Neoprene is the best. I used some made of those for a while, but the cheap prices at Harbor Freight revised my thought process

Re: Alergy---------------
As far as I know, latex gloves offer no good
protection when working with epoxy, you need
vinyl or nitrile gloves anyway. Latex apparently
is good enough when working with polyester.

Re: Allergy---------------
Agree. I use the 5 mil light blue nitrile and usually double them, so I can peel off one in the heat of battle if they get too messy, or I tear one.
Cheers,
Jay

Nitrile gloves solve that problem Harbor Freight has them cheap, but get a larger size than you think you need..

Alergy---------------
Years ago when building my airplane I would break out in blisters on my hands, so itchy I would scratch all night. I would only work on the project weekends, heal up during the week, and start again
