Darn Hangar rats chewing on the fabric again! I have some of that type of work on the way myself, Charlie. Maybe Santa CLawz will bring me that new TIG welder I've been lusting for this year.

Off topic winter hangar report
Hi gang,
I am about 80% moved out of my rental hangar but had a delay.
I developed hangar rash on the right elevator of the Tri-Pacer. This gave me an opportunity to learn fabric covering.

I use suction mount on the inside of the canopy with my DJI OSMO and video stabilization. Here is a still grab from a flight over Lake Tahoe at Emerald Bay.

Probably not enough time for the rings to drain down into the plugs so nothing to see here. Moving on.

Flight Report - sorry no video!
I had a problem where my carb was fowling the plugs bad, to the point where the next start up failed the mag test. I pulled the carb apart and thoroughly cleaned the passes related to the idle

No touch and goes on my home runway yet. I do them on the longer runway across town. I’m getting better though so eventually I will do them on the short runway.
Cheers,
Jay

There is a range of relative angle of wing-to-canard incidence (decalage) and it is a unique for every Q-type aircraft. I measured a pretty fair number of these (22 planes at last count). I did these

Beware of trailing edge down reflexer. It can over power the elevator and drive you into the dirt. Nearly happened to me. Reversing the reflexer saved me. I have since put a stop so it can't go past
