I have not seen this come across our group, but would the Quickie or Dragonfly go under the category of a Burt Rutan designed aircraft?
Also, being newer to the Q-list, do we have a gathering/meal

I saw the news.. Cleveland is checking the snow plows, salt, etc. According to the weather people, the sky is going to fall...just like in Minneapolis.

If you apply the brakes too hard, say trying to come to a screeching stop,
you will go over, upside down. At least, with the tail draggers.

There is the option of high temp epoxy plus autoclave pressure and heat. I suspect that is what Glasair used. Shouldn't be any sag there. The high temp room cure epoxie that I used for my cooling

We use Hexion Epikote 04908 (formerly Bakelite EPR 04908), a very low-viscosity epoxy for vacuum-injection. From the heart the maximum Tg is in the order of 85C.

drainage ditch about 30' off the side of the runway - that is the thing
