Re: "Old" new guy-lurker
Many thanks guys.
I am in Northamptonshire, England.
It would be great to get some experience first but there are so few Tri Qs here.
The runway is 800m (2660') long concrete.

Re: "Old" new guy-lurker
Mike, I had a TRI-Q with a C-85 and reflexers that I flew for over 900 hours (N56DW).
On take off with just myself, no extra fuel, bagage or a passenger I would reflex the ailerons up 1/8 to 1/4 inch.

First!!!! Don't even think about flying it until you have had a hand full of flights with someone in a tri-q. These are good questions you have however the answers won't get you safely in the air and

just about to fly a Tri Q200
Mick, I'm sure the guys that are currently flying could guide you better, since it's been almost 20 yrs since I flew the Tri-Q. That being said, I don't think I would hold "full aft stick" for taxi

Mike
just about to fly a Tri Q200. 58x68 prop. What should the static rpm be?
What take off roll distance should I expect?
Should I hold the stick fully back or only partially for take off?
What trim

"Old" new guy-lurker
Hi there, I'm one of the "early" Q guys, having built/flown a QuickieQ1 in 1979. I later rebuilt/converted a wrecked Q2 into a Tri-Q C85, then co-owned a Q200 for several years.
I don't fly anymore,
