Re: Gloucester
Hi Mike,
I think you'll find that the price you found is before tax.
It's £1.57/ltr with tax
assume an exchange rate of $1.55 = £1.00 that gives app $9.19/USgall.
Makes your eyes water.

My wife was a big soap fan.
I was a guest speaker at the Camarillo EAA chapter where Richard is a member and was in attendance. After my forum Richard came up to me and subscribed using a check.

My apologies to the list for provoking the wasted band width. I did not realize that past exchanges had so sensitized this group.
I agree that political debate has no place here, or on any discussion

$5.00/gal at Angel Fire! I know a little pricey but the FBO guy said they had to buy it from another FBO place and go pick it up themselves. I guess the fuel semi doesn't go up that mountain

Using that web site, your cheapest avgas is 1.017 per litre and there is 3.785 litre per US gal so that's $3.85 per gal US.
Our cheapest for avgas in Florida is $3.70 so we've caught up to you

Gloucester
I was curious what aviation fuel goes for in the UK?
I found Gloucesters fees listed at:
http://www.gloucestershireairport.co.uk/ScaleOfCharges.pdf
Wow, you guys pay for everything.
We still got it

Re: political comment.
Guys,
I think we have talked a lot more ABOUT the concept of politics e-mail than
actual politics itself. It was a 1 sentence comment.
Can we let it go?
I go back to lurking mode..

Re: Rotron 294cc
Looks like a great engine for the quickie. Not much better fuel burn than a 2 stroke though (a rotary is pretty much a two stroke anyway).
Personally, I will no longer put a newly designed engine on
