That makes complete sense, I am still running the little B&C 12 amp, but I wired it so that the 30 amp could pop straight in if it was needed.

    Good luck with it.

I assume the 496 power cord is the same as the 296.  If so the 660 is a total different animal.  But with only 3 wires to hook up it is a piece of cake.

Hi Dave,

I thought I would wait until the dust settled but you did an admirable job saving the airframe. Thats one of the reasons I don't like taking long trips and possibly stranded several states away from home. Did you have to clean the seats? Ha Ha. I've been there and done that and it was very scary. I dead sticked into Livermore a few years ago during one of our airshows. It puckered my butt real good. Are you putting a Revmaster back in it or exploring options?

Dave I wish you a quick return to service. Sorry to hear about your mishap.

Best,

Corbin,

I raise the tail high enough to get support under the main part of the fuselage. Then brace the engine just behind the prop. Then remove the tail. This works and will allow you to work inside the cockpit as well without fear of tipping over onto the engine. Looks like you are doing about the same.Hope all is well with you.

I guess they don’t make enough money to justify printing them.  Instead of having a handy reference manual now I’ll have a folder of 8-1/2x11 sheets.
