A model based on Quickie and Viking Dragonfly
Maksim <letun@...>
Good day to all. For children I decided to make a toy, almost our plane. We already tried and printed on a printer and now we started to assemble from plywood. If anyone is interested, I began to gradually describe this process on a local site and upload files absolutely free there, suddenly you want to repeat it. At first, I planned to leave the model as it was, hang it under the ceiling, but it is possible to fill the voids with foam, putty and paint. I am preparing another type of model in the same way, there I will do an overview of all the options.
If you have any questions about the assembly, write on that forum, there I read more often :)

I saw these sunshades in Matthew’s post, from when he landed his Q200 at LAX this week, and ordered them right away. They sure are going to help down here in the Texas sun.

Sounds like a wise decision to cancel in May. I like the idea of trying for July, assuming things are better by then. Paul Fisher Q-200 N17PF

Corbin <c_geiser@...>
Thanks Chris. This was a new ticking that started recently; very noticeable change. Not the normal tick when fuel is low.

Corbin----------- I have had my pump for 700 hrs. I use rubber gas line, mostly auto gas. My fuel pump will tick all the time, When the engine is running and you have your headset on, you don't hear it. If the main runs out of fuel and the pump sucks air, you WILL hear it, It's not a tick, but a loud knocking. My pump is wired in so it runs all the time, but on the odd occation when I do run the main out of fuel I can reach under and unplug the breaker to stop the noise. The pump breaker is the lowest on the panel.
It may have been that when you where first flying the airplane you where preoccupied with other things and didn't notice. Now that you are more comfortable your attention is not as focused and you are aware of other stuff. Re: Update: Faucet Fuel Pump Ticking Sound w/ Plenty of Fuel
It may be that there is a little bubble trapped in the pump after the replacement that cannot get out. Try tilting the plane in each axis while the pump is running and see if it fixes it. Alternatively, fly it up really high and run the pump, since the bubble will expand up there and may purge. You can stop by and visit my while you are up there 😊
Cheers,

Well, I think I am just baffled because the Faucet pump (same model) I had before did not tick like this unless fuel was low. Then it started ticking all of a sudden and the replacement one does too. I am actually not too concerned about fuel flow as it is clearly pumping faster than fuel going from header to the engine.
