It looks like Chief has one in stock now--the specs, including manufacturer and part number, match; except for the 1/4 NPT.  Mitchell - MIT-PS-211-9039 - Sender Oil Pressure - Chief Aircraft Inc.

Failing that, you could try an avionics company.  I know MGL sells an oil pressure sensor that was very similar to the one I used.

It was just brought to my attention that the below offer doesn't read as intended.

My intent is to give the color version (at no additional cost) in the place of the ordered black and white version, NOT in addition to.

So if you order the b&w version, you'll receive the more valuable color version in its place.

Thanks!

These are on Ebay specifically for older Samsung Galaxy Tabs:

Supposedly it will provide power to the USB device but will not charge the tablet at the same time. I am thinking about giving one of these little USB ADS-B devices a try on my Galaxy Tab 2 7".

New Toy and Flight Report ADSB Receiver

For $25 I now have ADS-B In. I pulled the old XP tablet off the panel and
installed a Samsung Tablet that I had. I'm running the Avare moving Map
APP (free) with current sectional charts, approach charts, airport
diagrams, TFR's, facility directory,... It takes my flight plan and calls
in a flight plan to FSS... Very cool Android APP.

We flew down to Venice for Lunch today. I love the ADS-B in. I saw a RV9
following me on the ADS-B (would have never knew he was there otherwise).
On the screen I saw a plane coming at me way before he was a dot on my
windscreen. There was no weather to speak of but that is supposed to show
up also. The wind today was above my fun flying speed 15 gusting to 23,
but was severe clear. Both runways were pretty much into the wind. The
Q200 handled it very well. Boy was it bumpy over the land but not bad over
the water. Most of the flight was over water.

Here is my flight track if your interested. I used APRS for this.

Add a $18 USB Radio, OTG cable, and my Samsung 10" tablet and away you go.
I set it for 978 MHZ. At home I get nothing. At the airport, bam, I get
lots. Now here is the downside. You can't charge the Tablet using an OTG
cable. I have installed a charge cable but I'll have to pull the OTG cable
and plug in the charge cable. That kind of sucks. I tried a OTG Hub, same
deal, won't charge the tablet. Here is another downside. If you have the
USB Radio and OTG cable plugged in when you power up the Tablet the Program
says it can't find your USB radio. You have to unplug the OTG cable and
plug it back in. Here is another downside. In my airplane (fiberglass) when
I transmit using the comm radio it kills the USB radio, freaks it out and
the ADS-B Program pops up and tries to start working. In other words coming
in for a landing you might want to shut down the ADS-B Receiver first cause
when you start talking on the radio you will lose the navigation map! So
lots of downsides but when flying I saw the plane behind me, the one coming
toward me when he was way far away. I knew their altitudes. It was
fantastic! ADS-B Receiver gets 5* as I figure out how to fix the issues.

I also ran the +12V aircraft power to the OTG cable and powered up the USB
radio from the 12V USB adapter. I had to splice into the wires to do
this. Now the power to run the USB Radio isn't coming from the Tablet.

Re: Q1 wheels and brake system options

The stock Quickie brakes are very poor at best. With the large tire and wheel option they added a single lever to gain some mechanical advantage, they got a little better.
When I built my Quickie the flat steel bar that rubs on the tire was replaced with a larger one that fits the contour of the tire so the surface area rubbing on the tires is many times larger.
My brakes are adequate, if it is raining I won't be doing any fast stops.

Henry,
Some of the Q-1’s were modified to larger wheels and it makes them operable on grass which is a good thing in tail draggers.  The tire scrubber brakes are a joke.  I always said that they give you something to do while you’re waiting for the plane to slow down.  I would definitely upgrade your plane to bigger wheels with real brakes.
