Corbin,
If you want to go the 3D printer route I can help you with that, if you need the help!

Friction Lock "Knob"
Looks as though I need a replacement knob for my friction lock. I am not sure of size but where I should I look to get the little knob?

My first flight was nothing like this and I’m sure many others experienced the same as me on their first flight, as it was a non event.
Apparently Steve didn’t have much if any complex or fast

We still have another Q1 we might part with but I'm sure Georgia is a bit farther than you want to travel to get one.

Re: Help, Bruce
I tried sending Dave an email, but it failed. Mine is hoxdesigns@... & is in the directory. Perhaps you can let Dave see this.

I can empathize with him as I have had some interesting experiences.

This is all I have of my first flight. No access to the ramp for my cameraman, so this starts with me having already flown 7500 feet along the runway. It was a pretty day and no drama. 😊

Maybe you’re thinking of Henry Hallam’s electric Q1. I’ve seen it taxi on a video somewhere. It’s all gone quiet recently. I hope it’s still progressing behind the scenes.

I suspect one of his problems that he was not focused far enough down the runway during round out. He was also having issues with his pitch sensitivity.

That electric Q1 isn't a Q1, exactly. It's from Quickie founder Gene Sheehan and is a completely new design, all carbon fiber, and actually a bit smaller than a Q1. I doubt that it is for sale. MY Q1
