Re: Spring Fling!
Great report Jay, your hours are building well now, and multiple land aways, well done.
Hope to get close to engine run this weekend. Will keep you posted.
Cheers

Re: Spring Fling!
Hi All,
I made it home this morning from the spring/summer fling. Spent the night in Kimball Nebraska last night. Actually stopped there midday, not feeling up to fighting the nasty winds/bumps

Re: Free canopy
I’ll hold onto it for a while if you need. As long as you can come get it at some point. Let me know a time frame.

Free canopy
I have a canopy and frame that we are tired of moving around.
Anybody need it? In Bakersfield if you want it.

Re: Spring Fling
I made it home safely as well. I liked the 30 knot tailwind (yes, TAILWIND!), but there was a nasty thunderstorm 20 miles beyond my destination, so I'm glad I didn't have to go any further!!

Wow, thanks for all the input. I especially liked the reference to the Marshall Tail Cradle. I ended up strapping a cargo carrier to the longerons with ratchet clamps, and hoisted it up to

No N number was given to me, but it must have had one, someone from Blackhawk technical must know.

That's a fairly rare bird; Revmaster Q2 with a smile inlet and the carbon spar LS canard. Do you happen to know the old N number?

Somewhere… probably old newsletters… someone used some “half circles” made of plywood and secured to the firewall. The half circles were large – extended all the way to ground whilst sitting
